The Solex solar powered roller is specifically designed to be economical, flexible and simple, offering a convenient progression from a standard manual pool roller without the hardship of providing an electrial supply. Fully self powered through a photovoltaic panel which steadily tops up (even on a cloudy day) a fully contained dry-cell battery, the roller can be installed on new and existing outdoor domestic pools and will accommodate solar blankets of up to 6m wide and 12m long. The sturdy anodised aluminium telescopic roller tube allows flexiblity of size and the aluminium and PVC stands give strong impact resistant end supports. Operation is by a simple switch mounted on one of the end stands, and the 12v in tube motor has adjustable limits in order that the positioning of the cover can be consistently accurate and automatic. The use of an Aquablade towing system is strongly recommended for covers using the Solex roller and the roller should be mounted over the end of the pool not set back. A photovoltaic (PV) cell is a devide that converts light energy into electrical energy by the photovoltaic effect. The PV cell consists of one or two layers of a semi conducting material, usually silicone. When light shines on the cell it creates an electric field across the layers causing electricity to flow. The greater the intensity of the light, the greater the flow of electricity. The collection and conversion of solar energy is a completely pollution free renewable energy process.

Multicyclone Prefilter & Water Saver

This ingenious water saving filtration device won the much coveted Sustainabilty Award at the 2007 Barcelona Piscina show - the showcase for the European wet leisure industry). It's unique filtration system saves water and reduces the need for frequent backwashing and is ideal as a pre-filter to extend the life and improve performance of existing filtration.
The Multicyclone works on the basis of centifugal water filtration. There are no moving parts to wear and tear and no filter media to clean or replace.
Incoming water is guided by a diverter plate so that it enters multiple hydro cyclones tangentially, generating a strong centrifugal effect. This spins the sediment out to the hydro cyclone's wall and then spirals it down to the sediment sump, while the cleansed water spirals upwards. The Multicyclone is cleaned bys imply opening the purge valve. Only 15 litres of water is discharged to clean the Multicyclone of sediment.
Can be installed before a traditional sand filter or cartridge filter.

The X Flow system for above ground pools is a cost effective and environmentally friendly system specifically designed for above ground pools.
It is recommended that the area of solar collectors used should be equivalent to aprox. 50% of the pool surface area. The X Flow solar heating kit is therefore suitable for use with pools with a surface area 15m2. Additional X Flow kits can be purchased for easy connection to suit larger pools.

This product is an accessory to our X Flow Solar Heating Kit for above ground pools.
This product allows for fully automated control of the solar collectors. The temperature controller and independent pump enable the system to be set to activate and deactivate automatically dependent upon pre-set temperature differentials. The system will gauge the difference in temperature between the pool water and the solar collectors, and start/stop the transfer of water to the solar collectors accordingly. The X Flow solar controller ensures that the X Flow kit performs at 100% efficiency by only pumping water to the collectors when a temperature gain will be achieved.
A booster pump is included to enable you to run this system independent of your circulation system
